Chrysalis is a self taught fiber artist who has developed an innovative
style of weaving using salvaged copper wire. The uniquely flexible and durable nature of
this material allows her to combine stitching techniques in new ways and
create work that is a radical departure from traditional basketry. Though
her work is non-traditional, craftsmanship is still an important element of
her weaving. She strives to work
with the utmost skill, to create pieces that are durable and finely
detailed. Her work has been juried
into many national and international exhibitions.
